The Big Green Bookshop do an amazing thing every Wednesday. They organise a #buyastrangerabook treat on Twitter. Last week a copy of Wintering by @katherinemay_ was up for grabs. And here it is, in my hands. I’m incredibly grateful, a treat from a stranger is such a gift 💝and this book was very high on my wish list 😊 I’ve joined a few of Katherine’s talks online and she’s a gem.
Yesterday was the Little’s birthday so I am now the proud owner of a 14 year old. @mariannesunshine_ I may need talking off the edge and your advice though, a whole teenage boy 😳 I’m not sure I’m ready and you’ve made it look so easy.
Andrea Levy is my fairy godmother so the newsletter I’ve just sent out is dedicated to her.
